One local retailer is making it easier for DMV households to save on groceries

 

Many DMV households are finding it difficult to make ends meet when it comes to buying necessities like everyday groceries. And when you have special occasions like the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day, tight budgets go out the window as households may want to splurge on specialty foods, flowers, beverages, and chips and snacks (snack food has been going up in price for years).

Now one retailer in the DMV area has been taking extra measures to help shoppers stretch their dollars:

163 Giant Food stores across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia have partnered with Upside, the nation’s largest food and fuel app, to offer shoppers personalized cash back on everyday groceries. No coupons are needed, they can simply shop as usual.

In fact, since launching late last year, shoppers across the DMV have already earned $1M in cash back through Upside.
